Are you holy? How do you
see yourself before God?
Paul
says,
God was in Christ,
reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing our sins unto us, For the
Father hath made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might become
righteous with the righteousness of God in Christ.
(KJV) 2Cor 5:19 & 21
Absolute deity in Christ was
reconciling the world to Himself, not putting down on the liability side of
(our) ledger our trespasses . . . It means that we are made righteous in the
sight of God; that is, that we are accepted as righteous, and treated as
righteous by God on account of what the Lord Jesus has done. (Barnes)
We are made righteous in
God’s sight! We are holy in God’s sight! The Father made us righteous! He made
us holy!
Because
it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
(KJV)
1Pet 1:16
Hey, if you don’t believe
you’re holy don’t shoot the messenger! *see 2Cor 5:20 .
